What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the frozen food manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.
* Develop New Health and Safety System
* Perform Site Risk Audit
* Develop Site Safety Plans
* Health & Safety Training/Drills
* Ensure adherence to OHSAS 18001 standards

* Ensure Staff Health Protected
* Ensure Staff Work in a Safe Environment
Background work experience:
* 3 years OHSAS 18001 in Food Manufacturing
* 3 years Health & Safety Risk Assessments
* 3 years Health & Safety Policy Development
* 3 years Health & Safety Training
* Health & Safety Certificate
* Setting up a OHSAS 18001 compliant Health & Safety System
* Developing a OHSAS 18001 compliant Health and Safety system
* Evaluate factory to determine the health & safety risks present in the factory
* Develop appropriate Health & Safety policies
* Train staff on Health & Safety practices and policies
* Advantageous: Health & Safety in a Food Manufacturing Environment

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R240K to R360K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
