Our client, a leader in the transport industry is now looking for a Health and Safety Officer. The main responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer will be the following:

The implementation of SHEQ awareness plan.
To Conduct accident and incident investigations.
Maintain Health & Safety monthly registers.
Conduct Health & Safety risk assessments
Job Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
Qualifications / Background:

Grade 12
5 years’ experience preferably in the Coal / Chrome industry
SAMTRAC Qualified or equivalent
Degree/diploma in SHEQ management
Experience working at Anglo American sites as well as South 32
