Brilliant Opportunity to be Head of the HR Department for Telecommunications Company!

This is the ideal role for someone who:

· BCom Human Resources or equivalent.

· Has a previous HR management industry experience – 5years minimum

· Familiar with Local compensation and HR related matters; labor environment

· Change Management experience

You will be responsible for:

· Support leadership team on organizational design

· Familiar with labor law and interact with external consultants and government agencies to provide suggestions when dealing with various employee relations issues.

· Assist the group in maintaining an appropriate BEE level for HR-related items on the BEE scorecard

· Ensure compliance with Employment Equity objectives in line with the Employment Equity plan.

· Oversee the payroll department ensuring deadlines are met.

· Complete the full recruitment function from the interview stage, to offer stage to onboarding.

· Oversee the on-boarding and induction process for new recruits.

· Ensure talent management framework is adhered to and understood by managers and employees.

· Propose strategies to promote staff retention and decrease staff turnover.

· Manage exit processes effectively, ensuring exit interviews are conducted.

· Manage and facilitate all IR related matters whilst providing sound advice to Management on cases relating to misconduct, poor performance, incapacity, grievances, retrenchments, section 197 transfers, and CCMA referrals.
