This year seems to be going very well for Maps Maponyane as he just secured another bag! Whilst the country is still celebrating his Buns Out restaurant, and everyone wishing to have a taste of the highly hyped burgers, he is announcing more partnerships.
The man with many talents took to social media to announce his partnership with IWC Swizz Watches – a major international timepiece company. I am incredibly honoured to be partnering with IWC Schaffhausen, a brand that has been my all-time favourite, and part of a company that I sincerely respect for their values and creative timepieces,” he said.
He continued by adding, “They have proven themselves to be one of the most prestigious brands over the years and I am thrilled to come on board as a partner with the brand in their upcoming projects. I am looking forward to working with the incredible team at IWC Schaffhausen.”
A spokesperson for the company, Franziska Gsell, said that Maps’ philanthropy and the amount of heart he gives to projects makes him the perfect person to partner with. He is a great role model who brings elegance and charm to everything he does,” Gsell added.
Being the true definition of ‘hard work pays off’. Buns, as fans now call him, has been making money moves and inspiring everyone. His recently launched burger joint Buns Out has been doing exceptionally well. Many people are also impressed with his hands-on approach when it comes to his business.
In other news – Man in court after pantsula dancer Ayanda Nondlwana stabbed to death
A suspect is expected to appear in the Makhanda magistrate’s court on Tuesday in connection with the murder of actor and dancer Ayanda Nondlwana. Ayanda, who performed in several theatre productions and wowed audiences with his skills as a pantsula dancer, was stabbed to death on Sunday.
His death was confirmed by police spokesperson Capt Mali Govender. In the early hours of Sunday, October 13, the victim was in the company of a friend and looking for someone with a lighter to light up his cigarette. He saw security guards and informed his friend that he would go and get a light from them. His friend continued to walk away. Read more
