Gigi Lamayne thinks social media platforms are bad

Gigi Lamayne has shared her opinion on the negativity floating around on social media platforms – #ItsTwitterCultureTo was trending and the hip-hop muso added her 2 cents to the conversation – Gigi feels that people are using Twitter to bash others because they feel insecure.

Gigi Lamayne shared earlier that she can’t believe women who hurt other women have the audacity to point fingers at men. The musosays the harshest criticism she ever received was from a woman, and that speaks volumes, according to an earlier report by Briefly.co.za. Very recently (just a few hours ago if you’re reading this article hot off the press), Gigi once again spoke out about how people treat each other – this time she focused on what happens on the Twitter streets.

The hashtag, #ItsTwitterCultureTo, was trending and while many people kept it light-hearted and talked about silly things people do for ‘follows’ or how memes are something that everyone uses, Gigi went in with the big guns. She said that people use Twitter to ‘bash on’ others to make up for their insecurities and to be honest, we have to agree with her. There’s a lot of hate to be found on Twitter.

Gigi isn’t scared to call things for what they are, and we respect her for it. She was very honest when she opened up about what got her into hip-hop. It was a way for her to deal with her abusive home life. You can’t help but respect Gigi – she’s raw and real and passionate.
