Dr Clarence Mini will be laid to rest in Fourways on Sunday. He was the chairperson of the Council of Medical Schemes and died of a coronavirus related illness earlier this week after being in hospital for more than a month.
The council has lauded Mini for his contribution, saying that he served the medical schemes industry with distinction.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize is expected to speak at the funeral service.
