At 07H57 Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Victoria Road direction Camps Bay in Bakoven Cape Town.
Reports from the scene indicate that two cars were involved in a head-on collision resulting in one of the cars catching alight.
An adult male, adult female and two minor males sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
It was alleged that the driver of one of the vehicles had absconded from the scene.
All the patients were treated on scene and transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
