The bride is so beautiful #OurPerfectWedding

Despite living 50km apart, he in Vosloorus and she in Soweto, fate brought Boitumelo Moloi (27) Fani Makhanya (35) together.I went to a friend’s place,” says Boitumelo. When her friend, Gugu, went outside to get her water, she came back and said there’s someone out there who is interested in her.

“When I first saw Boitumelo, I was going to the kitchen,” says Fani. I just saw a beautiful flower walking pass the window. She went to knock at the room Gugu’s mother was renting. I called my friend to come and see, and he came running. I asked who she was, and he said she was a student.

I said this is not a student, she is the mother of my children. He said I was crazy. I stood there waiting. Luckily Gugu walked past and I told her everything. I said I want that flower in your room, please introduce me to her.

Boitumelo says she first gave him attitude but he managed to win her over. She says: “The first thing he said to me was, sorry to be forward. That line caught me because I was amazed by the amount of respect he had considering the fact that he is a township boy. I went to a multiracial school, I’ve got my standards and its very high when a guy approaches me. That drew me, closer to him to make me listen to what he had to say.”

Fani recalls that she gave him her time. Looking triumphant and smiling broadly he says: “I got her phone number. I got her number.

When he was ready to propose, he says he went to Joburg to buy a Keyshia Cole album. “When I got to the house, she was with the kids, so I… played the track ‘Heaven Sent’. I turned up the volume, took out the ring, went on one knee and asked her to marry me. The next thing, she started tearing up. She said yes, and I got up and placed the ring on her finger.

Now, three kids later, she says she loves the way he treats her. He treats me like a queen. And he even calls me his queen. He’s always called me that. That’s just one of the things that drew him closer. He’s got that which most men don’t have. He says she brings out the best in him. “She’s not an angry person. She’s a humble respectful person.
