Rumours of his death first emerged last week.
Elliot Moyo, the man at the centre of the resurrection drama that made headlines earlier this year, has reportedly been confirmed dead by his family.
The news has been confirmed by Daily Sun a few weeks after rumours of his death first started doing the rounds.
Several Zimbabwean news publications reported last Monday that Brighton Elliot Moyo had passed on following a short illness.
According to Malawi24, iHarare.com, ZwNews.com, Bulawayo24 News, and Zimbabwe News, to name a few, Elliot died last week in South Africa and was buried on Saturday.
He is reportedly survived by his wife.
