KwaZulu-Natal: At 12H57 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of Old Bush Road and William Campbell Drive in La Lucia Durban North.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control around a bend knocking down a light pole resulting in a rollover.
The patient an elderly female was found to have sustained critical injuries and was treated on scene by Crisis Medical and Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioners.
Due to the nature of the patients injuries a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift her to a specialist hospital for the advanced care she required.
