There are many curve balls that life throws at us, but having a significant other to go through them with makes life worthwhile, however, when the relationship has passed the honeymoon phase, it’s prone to get sour during tough times, but Mapaseka says she’s got the antidote – humour. Speaking to Kagiso Modupe on Cliff Central, the actress speaks on the importance of humour in a relationship saying:
“It’s very important because you can’t be living in a house where you’re always speaking about debit orders…when you with someone for so long, things tend to get dull and boring and I think humour helps us forget about the problems in our lives…
The actress who now runs a successful business with her husband, reflected on a passed scenario where she wasn’t bringing any money into the household and although it was a serious financial problem, Mapaseka found a way to address the situation using her humour.
“I remember there was a time – you know this industry, one moment you working and the next you’re not – and it was a serious thing, I didn’t bring income and he was the only one bringing income and I just said: ‘Aren’t you gonna give me money, you know I don’t have money, so give me money, be my sugar daddy’” she said.
