Diesel Mechanic Crew required: Salary R18 000 to R25 000 per month

Duties Responsibilities:

Follow a checklist of the inspection procedure
Running and analyzing various tests on vehicles
Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts
To carry out routine servicing
Attending to Breakdowns
Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components
To be able to diagnose and repair faults in Diesel engines and Hydraulic systems.
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
Checking vehicle lighting systems.
Test-driving vehicles to gauge performance.
Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks.
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
Maintaining a parts inventory.
Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop.
Report into and plan with Management for the coordination of resources

Experience Qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
ASE Diesel Certification
Fitter Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
Experience in a 3PL environment
Able to work after hours and weekends as required
Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills
Good fault finding, electronic diagnostic skills
Valid drivers license code 10 and 14
Aptitude for mathematics and science.
Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.
Good IT and diagnostic skills.
