Over the weekend, news of D’banj’s 1-year-old son shook the entire Nigerian entertainment industry as they came to learn about the tragic passing of his baby boy.
According to Pulse Nigeria D’banji’s son, Daniel lost his life after an accidental drowning incident that occurred at D’banji’s residency in Ikoyi, Lagos.
D’banj who was at the BET Awards over the past weekend expressed great grief at the loss of his child. He posted a blank dark image with the caption: “Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”

Davido, who walked away with the Best International Act Award at the BET’s also sent out his message of condolences to D’banj on stage before making his acceptance speech for winning the award.

A few days ago, D’banj posted an adorable picture of him changing his son’s diaper on Father’s Day, this was the last picture of Daniel he posted on Instagram.
