A case brought by hairdressers has been dismissed by the Western Cape High Court. The stylists wanted to be allowed to service customers under level 4, saying they were struggling to survive.
The judge said the application was defective as it failed to cite the Cooperative Governance, Small Business and the Trade and Industry ministers as respondents. The applicants also failed to get the support of the Employers organisation for hairdressing, cosmetology and beauty technicians.
