The heavenly mercies have been good on Mthandeni Manqele‘s side throughout his recovery journey and he is grateful to be alive after a strange illness. According to Daily Sun, the Maskandi musician claims his sickness could have been caused by a tokoloshe.
Mthandeni said he comes from a God-fearing family and he does not mix prayer with muthi, hence he opted to not go to traditional healers.
The musician said his witchcraft came in the form of cats scratching him in his dream and dogs attacking him. I have scars on my body where I was scratched by cats,” he told the publication.
Mthandeni said he vomited a lot of foam and he believes evil spirits were coming out of his body. The musician said his body is now starting to get back to normal and he thanks God for surviving.
