Chris Tucker confirms Rush Hour 4 is in the pipeline

It was officially announced by Chris Tucker who is in Durban ahead of his comedy show at the Durban International Convention taking place on Friday. Chris Tucker confirms Rush Hour 4 is in the pipeline. You heard it here, there is definitely going to be a Rush Hour 4, folks.

Tucker, who touched down in the city earlier on Thursday, said he was ready to immerse himself in local culture in preparation for his one-man show.

Commenting on the possibility of a new Rush Hour, Tucker said his co-star in the hit action/comedy, Jackie Chan, was constantly nagging him to hurry up and get working on the next movie.

Remember, Chan is now the ripe ol’ age of 64 is the one nagging his much younger counterpart to get back in the action! Tucker, who began his career in comedy, is looking forward to bringing the funny to locals on Friday.

Speaking during a media briefing on Thursday, Tucker said he is excited to be in Durban. “I come from Cape Town and arriving here in Durban, I was amazed by the greenery and all the architecture of the city. I am really happy to be here,” he said.

Tucker is known for playing the role of Smokey in F. Gary Gray’s Friday and as Detective James Carter in Brett Ratner’s Rush Hour film series.
