Western Cape: At 08H02 Thursday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Vryburger Avenue in Milnerton, Cape Town.
Reports indicate that a young schoolgirl had been struck down by a car.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the child had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner.
Once stabilised the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
