While Mthunzi is out of the picture for now, it’s ‘Scandal!’s ladies who are keeping fans of the show entertained. Gloria’s proposal backfired, Shado has Quinton wrapped around her finger and Boniswa shows little faith in Chumani.
The feisty ladies of Scandal! is making sure that there is still a lot of drama without the villainous Mthunzi Mayisa. Gloria has gone completely overboard when she heard Caiphus talking about what sounded like plans for a wedding. She assumed he was going to ask her and when he didn’t, she did the proposing. Not only did she end up hurting a knee, she also didn’t get a ‘yes’ from her man. She’s heartbroken and doesn’t realise Caiphus is helping a family member with his arrangements.
Meanwhile, Boniswa basically asked Layla to spy on Chumani – it looks like she doesn’t have a lot of faith in her son. Chumani is super excited about his new role as the boss of ThebeLanga but it’s possible that his mother will cause him to lose confidence.
Quinton has his hands full as well. Shado has him under her thumb and he doesn’t even realise it. Will he sacrifice his ethic and moral compass to accommodate the beautiful damsel in distress? It sure looks like he will.
