Internationally renowned DJ Black Coffee has reflected on the pain he went through while at the same time celebrating Nelson Mandela‘s release from prison.
The 43-year-old whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo recalled how he was going through pain 30 years ago after being involved in an accident.
Taking to Twitter, the award-winning star said he hasn’t fully recovered from the pain he felt back then while celebrating Nelson Mandela’s release from prison.
He wrote: “30 years ago exactly at this hour I was in hospital in pain after an accident while we were celebrating the release of Nelson Mandela from 27 years of prison. Reflecting on the pain I have been and still going through while on a journey of recovery learning to accept the new me while.”
