Businesswoman and writer, Basetsana Kumalo gracefully covers The Bar magazine. On the cover was written, “Bassie, A Testimony”, which simply means, according to the mag that: The many tests @basetsanakumalo has endured have resulted in a testimony for the books.”
The star shared the cover on Instagram and captioned it with some of her words:
“I am a child of faith. Even during the darkest hour of my life, I always knew that the sun would shine again and that I just needed to stay the course and cry through the pain, not escape it, process it so that I could stand in the sun tomorrow and not be bitter and angry.” Basetsana Kumalo

In a twist to the five-year investigation into Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa’s murder, it has now emerged that the police now believe one of the people present in the house where Senzo was gunned down, is the culprit and that everyone present lied to police about who really killed the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper.
In a lengthy audio recording, obtained by City Press, a senior executive in the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) tells a member of Meyiwa’s family that the police will again question those who were in the house at the time of Meyiwa’s murder. Read more
