Babes Wodumo found herself in the middle of yet another Twitter storm. This time she was reprimanded by politician Fikile Mbalula for a commented she allegedly made on his Twitter post following news of the murder of Uyinene Mrwetyana. Scores of Twitter users slammed his tweet, saying men were to blame for the r@pe and murder of countless women in South Africa. Babes also seemed to join in with a response of her own. Work together Wani wena slima [idiot/fool]!! If it was your child or wife you were not going to be tweeting kanje,” she allegedly wrote.

Fikile wasn’t the only person in Babes’ firing line. Her Twitter page also responded to a tweet Pearl Thusi put out about her missing phone. Like many Twitter users, Babes thought everyone’s attention should be on Uyinene and not Pearl’s missing phone.
“Unesibindi [She was brave]. #RipUyinene,” she commented on Pearl’s missing phone post. But, like the time Babes blamed her shady comments about Lady Zamar on a hacker, her followers did not believe her claims. We no longer trust you!!! We have big issues….. Not NOW!!!” one Instagram user wrote. Another added: “What happens next? You apologise s and say it was you? Girl, you are just too much. You don’t deserve to be where you are. But God sees you.
But some of her followers believed her claims. I believe you babes…to avoid unnecessary drama just deactivate your Twitter account coz this thing will continue. It won’t stop…they are trying to paint a bad image about you…The person who is responsible of this is probably someone that you know.
