United star Ashley Young storms out of training?

Manchester United captain Ashley Young reportedly stormed out of training last week after comments made by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his exit is seemingly imminent.

Young, 34, looks set to complete his transfer to Inter on Friday evening after the training ground incident at United’s Carrington base. The veteran wing-back was made an offer to join Antonio Conte’s side on a pre-contract but is believed to have asked the club to allow him to leave in January.

While United rejected the idea and offered him a one-year extension, the recent incident is said to have pushed Young further towards the exit door. In the pre-match press conference before United’s 4-0 win over Norwich, Solskjaer claimed Young would miss the game through injury.

This, according to the Sun, infuriated the former Aston Villa star before he stormed off the training ground to the gym in order to train by himself. The Mirror reports that the English giants are now willing to allow the England international to join Inter in a deal worth £1.3m, plus add ons – in order to keep the harmony within the squad. Young is expected to pen an 18-month contract with the Serie A title-chasers after nearly nine seasons with the Red Devils.
