Arthur Mafokate is often gushing over his daughter, Owami, and her achievements – Recently, he just had to share that she’s been doing great as a dancer and dancing teacher – Although he couldn’t be present when she was given her awards, he made sure she knew how proud he is.
Arthur Mafokate and Owami have a very special relationship and bond – they are as close as two people can be.
The Kwaito legend is regularly showing off with the achievements of his daughter and making it clear that he is a very proud daddy. He recently was unable to attend an award ceremony in which Owami scooped up 3 awards but was bursting with pride nonetheless.

Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan says corruption has cost Eskom billions of rand. He says South Africa’s ports are also suffering because of state capture.
“Suddenly everybody finds bailouts for Eskom a problem, but we’ve forgotten that as the President pointed it out yesterday that Eskom was one of the prime targets of state capture and corruption. Somewhere between an R20-billion or more were lost,” Gordhan said. Read more
