ANC calls for legal processes to be followed for President Cyril Ramaphosa

The ANC has called for space to allow standard procedures to be followed after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced his plan to have the Public Protector’s report placed under judicial review.

ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe said the president should be afforded the opportunity to consider the report and the options available –included, but not limited to a judicial review.

“it is important that we allow the process that the president has elected to follow, which is legal and permitted by law, to undertake that so we are not preemptive,” Mabe said.
