Amapiano lovers across Mzansi are in shock following the passing of Amapiano pioneer, DJ Papers also known as Papers 707.
The muso first gained popularity through his Amapiano dance moves which encompassed having a full beer bottle in HIS hand without dropping it on the floor. This style of dancing quickly gained popularity and was seen performed by the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Lamiez and many South Africans.
Close friends of the DJ shared the unexpected news of his passing through social media. Industry friends and fellows DJs in DJ Fresh, DJ Sumbody and Amapiano vocalist Lehleza have taken to their social media to honour Papers 707.
The past couple of weeks have been very difficult for the nation as we’ve lost a lot of our entertainers. The cause of Papers’ death has not yet been revealed.
