ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the Africa Day celebrations on Friday.
Africa Day is an annual commemoration of the founding of the Organisation of African Unity which is now known as the African Union.
This year’s event will also be marking the 80th birthday of ANC stalwart Mama Sophie de Bruyn.
The address will take place at the Reef Hotel in Johannesburg.
Later, Ramaphosa will also host the Diplomatic Corps in celebration of Africa Day in Pretoria.
