A small expanding Financial Accounting, Consulting & Services business is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic Professional Accountant registered with SAIPA to join their current Strand/Somerset West based team on a permanent basis.The company currently offers Book Keeping, Accounting, Audit, Tax, Consultancy & Business Analysis services to wide range of small, medium and large clients based across South Africa.This is an ideal opportunity for a Professional Accountant to join an existing dynamic and expanding business with a diverse offering of services.
Duties:
Prepare financial statements.
Tax submissions for all entities and individuals
Prepare and Submit monthly Management Accounts
Submit VAT & Statistical Returns
Assist with Tax preparations and submissions
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Manage payroll process
Prepare and co-ordinate annual audit process
Liaise with Operational management regarding queries
Minimum requirements:
BCom degree or equivalent with the required SAIPA related subjects
SAIPA Professional Registration
5 years plus relevant accounting experience, but less experience will be considered if you are a registered Professional Accountant
Computer literacy: MS Office with excellent Excel skills, Draftworx, Easyfile, Sarsefiling, Pastel & Xero.
IFRS for SME knowledge
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively in English and Afrikaans
Personality traits – Self-starter, Driven, Attention to detail and analytical
Salary: R20 – R30k per month ctc, depending on experience
Starting date: ASAP
