Babes Wodumo has apologised to fans after missing an international performance. The singer’s visa had been approved and ready for her to perform in the UK, yet Babes didn’t pitch for the gig due to her grandmother’s death, according to the gqom queen’s manager and older sister Nondumiso Simelane.
“Our sincere apology to my UK fans for not pitching last night the promoter and I had a few hiccups and I also wasn’t at all in a good space since I received sad news that my grandmother has passed on I also apologise on Mkhukhwini BUT what I wanna guarantee my Dublin fans is that I’m performing tonight [sic],” Babes wrote on Twitter.

Last year the Orkant/Balance Pon It hitmaker missed the BET Awards and the MTV EMAs after failing to apply for a visa on time. But tweeps didn’t take kindly to the Wololo singer missing yet another gig.
And this is what Twitter thinks about Babes Woumo missing another international gig:
that's not new to us, how many gigs you never pitched since you became an artist. you're simply unprofessional and disorganized.

Nah boo. You were used as part of a scam by dodgy UK promoters and shame because your name and brand are black listed now
