Julius Malema forgives Jacob Zuma

EFF leader Julius Malema surprised church members at a service yesterday morning. Malema was accompanied by party spokesman Mbuyiseni Ndlozi. He said: “We asked for blessings as it’s the right thing to do. “We received a sermon and blessings. The pastor said we must learn to forgive others and I have forgiven Zuma.

He told members of the Apostolic Faith Mission River of Life Church in Soshanguve, Tshwane, that he had forgiven former president Jacob Zuma.

“We asked the church to pray for a peaceful election as we don’t want any bloodshed.” Pastor Simon Mlambo said they always welcomed people from different political parties.

Speaking to church members, Malema said people should be allowed to vote for their leaders without interference. He said being undemocratic was not acceptable. Malema was in Soshanguve to prepare for his party’s manifesto launch at Giant Stadium this coming Saturday.

Julius Malema Durban July 2018He said the party’s manifesto would benefit small businesses. “We have decided to come to where our people are, not take it to FNB Stadium,” he said.

Malema said in future they wanted to hold cost-effective rallies, like in Zimbabwe where they host rallies in the fields. “We are confident we will do well in the upcoming election. The EFF is the only growing party, as the ANC and DA are declining,” he said.

Malema said his party cared about the people of Soshanguve and encouraged them to fill the stadium this coming Saturday.
