HBO has released 14 photos of the upcoming 8th and final season of Game of Thrones that will start on 14 April in the United States and that will be broadcast Express from the US on M-Net (DStv 101)
The first batch of 14 images include a look at Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) sitting on the Iron Throne wearing a new outfit and cutting a solitary figure standing alone at the Red Keep, the broody King of the North, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) returning to Winterfell alongside Little Finger
One of the biggest things worth pointing out is that Jon, Daenerys, Sansa, and Arya all look like they’re all together in Winterfell.
Warning: major spoilers ahead, which, duh.
Cersei truly hasn’t looked this shook since Jon Snow opened a trunk with an actual weight in it.
And Varys looks very accomplished, like maybe his plotting paid off and he finally mastered the game of thrones.
TBD on if the ice dragon kills them all, though
Samwell looks pretty damn pleased with himself, so maybe he finally would have made his dad happy?? Who knows
