After having performed in the US Sho Madjozi is starting to enjoy the limelight she was supposed to be enjoying for a while. like she Whilst some people have fallen in love with a few of these covers, others, as expected, expressed their dismay at one particular cover. We’ve had our fair share of debates about all of the November Issue magazine covers that have since been released.
By the way, you should really check out the three covers which have caused a lot of backlash in South African media. However, one magazine cover which we think people will be pleased to see is ELLE’s November issue which features Madjozi.
Like some of our artists, ShoMadjozi has had an amazing 2018. She recently attended the AfroPunk Festival which took place in Brooklyn, New York. Amongst the many great artists, she had the pleasure of meeting, Sho Madjozi managed to get a selfie with the likes of Jidenna and Tylor The Creator.
The singer and poet Shomadjozi real name Maya Wegerif is one lady who is proud of her culture. The singer and actress is always wearing something that shows her culture and she isn’t shy of it.
Sho Madjozi has made a name for herself by remaining true to her culture and is determined to continue shining the light on her “marginalised” Tsonga culture.
